Before you start:

 

Entries to the Publisher Podcast Awards are free, but to be considered for any of the below categories, please note that the following criteria must be met first.

The podcast:

  • Must be from a publisher* that releases content regularly and primarily in at least one other medium - print or online.
  • Will have been available for download/streaming for at least eight weeks prior to entries closing in March, with plans to continue (unless a planned limited series).
  • Must have published a new episode between December 2022 and December 2023.

We welcome entries from all over the world as we believe podcasting should be celebrated globally, but for the purposes of judging, we can only accept English-language podcasts.

Entries close on March 8th 2024.


*B2B or B2C organisation of any size whose primary purpose is to publish editorial content to an audience across print or online. Unfortunately, we cannot accept entries from blogs or companies whose primary business is not publishing at this time.

 

Judging:

 

Once entries have closed and judging is complete, a shortlist will be announced in April 2024. The shortlist will be judged by leading media and publishing figures from around the world to determine a winner for each category. A full list of judges can be seen on our website. The exception to this is the ‘Publisher Podcast of the Year’ category, which will be chosen from among the winners of other categories by the Media Voices team and announced on the night.

 

About the event:

 

The event itself will take place on June 12th 2024 in London. Please keep an eye on your emails and the website for further details as we plan around current restrictions. Tickets will go on sale in April 2024.

The event will be open to everyone, and we’d love you to join us to celebrate the best publisher podcasts, whether shortlisted or not. If you can't attend, that will in no way affect your entry, which is judged by an independent panel of experts. We won't swap out a winner just because they couldn't make it.

Please note podcasts entering this category don't have to have full video - if you've got a smart strategy involving logos, cards or more output as a video, that also qualifies.

The best of the best, this podcast will be the one that stands head and shoulders above all other podcasts. This category isn't open for entry, but will be chosen from among the winners of the other categories.
