The Publisher Podcast Awards

Entries to the Publisher Podcast Awards are free, but to be considered for any of the categories, please note that the following criteria must be met first.

The podcast:

  • Must be from a publisher that releases content regularly and primarily in at least one other medium - print or online.
  • Will have been available for download/streaming for at least eight weeks prior to entries closing in March, with plans to continue (unless a planned limited series).
  • Must have published a new episode between December 2022 and December 2023.

We welcome entries from all over the world as we believe podcasting should be celebrated globally, but for the purposes of judging, we can only accept English-language podcasts.

Publishers may submit multiple podcasts to the awards, but please note that no more than two podcasts per publisher will be shortlisted for a single category.

The event will be open to everyone, and we’d love you to join us to celebrate the best publisher podcasts, whether shortlisted or not. If you can't attend, that will in no way affect your entry , which is judged by an independent panel of experts. We won't swap out a winner just because they couldn't make it.

Your information:

We collect essential details like name, organisation and contact number in order to process your entry and keep you updated with the Awards process. These will not be passed on to any third parties, unless you explicitly authorise your data to be shared with our sponsors via the opt-in box. We will also add your details to our database for announcements about winners and future Awards timelines, and you can unsubscribe from these at any time.

By uploading assets like podcast icons and headshots, you are giving us permission to use these in shortlist and winner announcements, and any other publicity related to the Awards.

Any metrics provided to support entries are kept strictly between Media Voices and the selected judges for that category.

The Publisher Podcast and Newsletter Summits

Purchase of a ticket to the Publisher Podcast and Newsletter Summits gets you access to both streams. Feel free to change between them throughout the day, or we offer discounts on multiple tickets should you want other members of your organisation to attend.

Please note if you haven’t purchased a ticket to the Awards in the evening, we will require you to vacate the premises after the networking drinks to free up space for Awards attendees.

Ticket sales

Tickets to both the Summit and Awards are payable in advance, and we reserve the right to refuse admission if payment is not received before the event. Full payment must be received within 30 days of receiving the invoice.

After completing the registration form, you will receive an email confirming your attendance, and a link to view your invoice.

It may be necessary for reasons beyond the control of Media Voices to alter the timing or location of this event. In this instance, ticket holders will be entitled to a refund if they can no longer attend, but we cannot be responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of this, for example hotels or travel.

Cancellations and refunds:

Cancellations can be made up to 15 days prior to the event, and must be confirmed clearly in writing to team@publisherpodcasts.com. Any cancellations made after this date are non-refundable as we will have already paid for food and other associated costs. Non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.

Up until June 7th, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague by logging in and updating the details. If you wish to change details after this date, please email team@publisherpodcasts.com as the badges will have already been printed.

If we have to cancel the event for whatever reason, a full refund will be given.
