Kelly Crichton is a documentary maker and award-winning Podcast Producer at National World. Kelly picked up a number of awards for her work at last year's Publisher Podcast Awards including 'Podcast Hero of the Year'.

Kelly joined National World, formerly JPI Media/Johnston Press nearly 4 years ago when the company's podcasting plans were in their infancy. Since then she has developed and launched numerous successful shows across a variety of brands including The Scotsman, The Yorkshire Evening Post and NationalWorld.com. 

She has achieved success in creating entertaining shows that draw in listeners who go on to engage with other parts of the business as well as generating significant revenue through partnerships and advertising. These shows are genre-spanning in their content from food and drink and health and wellbeing to true crime, politics and news.

Kelly produced her first full length documentary for Irish national radio Newstalk in 2023, 'Tainted Blood' and is currently working on 'The Power of the People' due to air in the next year.
